I also made the 3/8" Harbor Freight impact tool based drawbar for my Series 1 mill and it works wonderfully. I have never needed to use a hammer on the drawbar since installation.
i recall the the bridgeports and clones do not have captive drawbars and that makes power draw bars difficult in the bridgeport world.
